BYU visits in-state rival Utah State for the fourth time in the last ten years to compete on the Reeder Memorial Course. Their last three visits saw them take first overall sweeping the meet in 15 points on two of the three previous races.

"This Friday’s race will be a great opportunity for our younger athletes to showcase their talent and help us make some decisions for who will be the 10 runners that race at the Big 12 championships later in the month." said head coach Ed Eyestone, "I am particularly looking forward to see how Carter Cutting, Jackson Henstrom and others perform in their first race of the season. They have worked hard and are looking forward to a hard race with good competition. It should be fun!"

This marks Jackson Henstrom and Patrick Cullen's first start as a Cougars. Henstrom is a transfer from Salt Lake Community College and Cullen a transfer from Northeastern.

Carter Cutting, Caleb Johnson, Hunter Kitchen and Brayden Packard are all expected to start.

After the Steve Reeder Memorial Invite, BYU travels to Madison, Wisconsin to compete at the 2025 Nuttycombe Invitational on Friday October 17.
