PROVO, Utah — BYU women’s volleyball head coach Rob Neilson announced the hiring of Torre Glasker as an assistant coach on Friday afternoon.

Glasker joins assistant coach Chloe Hirst and director of operations Kennedi Hansen on Neilson’s staff. All three previously worked under Neilson at Utah State.

An assistant coach at USU for the past three seasons, Glasker helped the Aggies secure two regular-season titles and one conference tournament championship. Prior to her time in Logan, she was an assistant coach at San Francisco State, where she coached five players to all-conference honors, including setter and freshman of the year selections.

Glasker also served as a volunteer assistant coach at UC Santa Barbara, a graduate manager at Ole Miss, and a club coach for Oxford Volleyball Club, Club GSL and Wasatch Beach Volleyball.

A South Jordan, Utah, native, Glasker played two seasons at Utah before finishing her career at UC Santa Barbara. She helped lead the Utes to consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances as a libero and was part of the Gauchos’ first NCAA Tournament win in 2019.
