IRVING, Texas – Thirteen BYU men’s cross country student-athletes earned spots on the Fall All-Big 12 Academic Team, the conference announced Thursday.

The Big 12 recognized 1,093 student-athletes on the 2025 Fall All-Big 12 Academic Team for their academic achievements in fall sports, including men’s and women’s cross country, football, women’s soccer and women’s volleyball. BYU totaled 82 honorees across the five sports.

To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.20 GPA or higher either cumulative or over the two previous semesters and must have participated in 20 percent of their team’s scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.
