PROVO, Utah – The BYU throws, multis, jumps and sprints groups head to the Don Kirby Indoor Invite in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Feb. 13-14 and the Distance squad returns to Boston University for the David Hemery Valentine Invite on Feb. 13.
Don Kirby Indoor Invitational
Logan Hubler is expected to headline the hurdles group two weeks after tying the No. 3 all-time BYU record in the 60-meter hurdles. The senior will be joined by fellow hurdlers Kaden Passey, Treyton Anderson and Garrett Copelin.
The sprints group will be represented by Brayden Dahl, Jonah Heimuli, Logan Hubler, Kayden Passey and Ty Oustrich.
The jumps squad is expected to feature Connor Saunders, Hayden Gribble and Carter Walker. The group will also see performances from Ben Barton and Jaden Jessee.
Freshman Silas Zimmerman will make an appearance to represent the pole vault group alongside Dallin Thorton who will also be among multi-athletes Ben Barton and Kaden Passey.
The BYU throws group will feature Erik Bryant, Peyton Williams and Tyler Poole.
David Hemery Valentine Invitational
The Distance group will see performances from almost every athlete on the roster highlighted by newly crowned school record holder Carter Cutting who set the No. 1 all-time BYU record in the indoor mile at the Boston John Thomas Terrier Classic. The junior will be joined by Tayvon Kitchen, Creed Thompson and Noah Jenkins who respectively hold the No. 2, 3 and 7 all-time BYU records in the indoor 5000-meter.
