ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Logan Hubler set the No. 5 all-time BYU record in the indoor 200-meter Friday at Don Kirby Indoor Invitational
Hubler came across the line in 21.07 seconds to claim the No. 5 spot on the BYU charts. The senior from San Tan Valley, Arizona placed fourth overall in the race. After moving to No. 3 all-time at BYU in the 60-meter hurdles two weeks ago, Hubler now has his name on the all-time top-10 record boards at BYU for two separate indoor events.
Brayden Dahl competed alongside Hubler in the 200m taking eight overall in a time of 21.26 seconds.
Representing the jumps group, Connor Saunders and Carter Walker tied for sixth in the high jump at a height of 2.03m/6-8. Hayden Gribble was also featured taking 17th.
On Saturday, Dahl took fifth in the 60-meter dash finishing in a personal-best 6.83 seconds.
The throws group was headlined by a seventh place finish from Tyler Poole who recorded a mark of 16.82m/55-2.25 in the shot put. Erik Bryant and Peyton Williams also competed in the event finishing 11th and 14th respectively.
The 4x400-meter rounded out the meet with a fifth place finish by the relay team that featured Jonah Heimuli, Treyton Anderson, Dahl and Ty Oustrich. The squad finished in 3:09.54.
