PROVO, Utah — No. 24 BYU women's volleyball will wrap up non-conference play with matchups against three in-state foes this week.
The Cougars (5-1, 0-0 Big 12) will meet up with Utah Valley, Weber State and Utah State on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

BYU moved up a spot from No. 25 to No. 24 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll after going 2-0 at Boise State and against UCLA last week.
The Cougars, who hit .400 as a team and had nine hitters record a kill, swept the Broncos, before beating the Bruins in five sets as Claire Little Chambers recorded her 1,000th career kill in the match.
She is the 24th member of BYU's 1,000 kills club, and the 10th to join the club in the rally-scoring era.
Little Chambers posted a double-double against UCLA, while setter Alex Bower recorded one of her own earlier in the week, at Boise State.
Bower tallied a team-high 49 assists on the week, averaging 6.13 assists per set. Fellow setter Kaylie Kofe averaged 4.88 assists per set as the Cougars carded 113 total kills, averaging 14.13 per set, on the week.
Lulu Po'uha continued to pace BYU defensively with a team-high 22 digs across the two matches. Kelli Jo Burgess was influential at the net with 14 blocks, including 10 in the five-setter against the Bruins, one shy of tying her career high.
On the year, the Cougars have six hitters averaging 1.5 kills per set or more: Little Chambers (2.96), Elli Mortensen (2.71), Sophia Callahan (2.0), Kate Prior (1.73), Brooke Hardy (1.63) and Burgess (1.5).
Of those six, four are hitting .250 or better for the season: Burgess (.433), Hardy (.385), Little Chambers (.264) and Prior (.250).
As a team, the BYU ranks in the top 25 of one national statistical category: blocks per set. The Cougars rank No. 20 nationally in the metric and fourth in the Big 12, averaging 2.69.
Individually, Burgess' 1.75 blocks per set on the season lead the Conference and rank third in the country. She (42 total blocks) and Mortensen (0.57 aces per set) also sit at 34th nationwide in a pair of statistical categories.
Concluding non-conference play this week, BYU gets set for its 22nd meeting with Utah Valley, 67th with Weber State and 71st with Utah State.
Utah Valley (2-7, 0-0 Big West)
- The Wolverines picked up their first two wins of the season last week, beating Kansas City and Radford in five sets.
- Head coach Sam Atoa is in his 27th season with UVU. He is 382-299 (.561) in his career.
- BYU leads the all-time series, 21-0. The Cougars are 11-0 against the Wolverines in Provo.
Weber State (5-2, 0-0 Big Sky)
- The Wildcats split their slate last week, sweeping Nevada in Reno before taking Big 12 foe Kansas State to four sets.
- Weber State will host Utah State before welcoming BYU to Swenson Gym.
- Jeremiah Larsen is in his 12th season at WSU. He is 189-138 (.578) in his career.
- The Cougars lead the all-time series, 66-0. BYU is 28-0 when facing the Wildcats in Ogden.
Utah State (0-7, 0-0 Pac-12)
- The Aggies are looking for their first win of the 2026 season.
- USU will visit Weber State on Tuesday and host Utah Valley on Thursday before coming down to Provo for Saturday afternoon's matchup at the Smith Fieldhouse.
- Head coach Keith Smith is in year one in Logan after serving as an assistant coach at TCU last season.
- BYU leads the all-time series, 55-15. The Cougars are 27-4 against the Aggies in Provo.
