Born in Salt Lake City...parents are Bruce and Glenys Clark...majoring in dietetics.
Before BYU
400m state champion her senior year...lettered twice in soccer, twice in cross country and three times in track...took first place in the 800m at the 1997 NJCAA track and field championships and finished second in 1998 ...member of Ricks College national championship cross country team in 1997 and 1998.
