• Has dual citizenship with the U.S.A. and Canada
• Likes wakeboarding and waterskiing
• Swims laps on a regular basis
• Runs and hikes often by cabin in Waterton, Canada
• Recruited by Utah, Utah State, Nevada, UNLV and TCU
• Was also recruited as a soccer player by TCU, Utah and Utah State
• Majoring in civil engineering

Before BYU

• Set the school record in seven events at Boulder City High School: the 100mH, the 300mH, the 400m, 800m, 1600m, 3200m and the 4X400 relay
• Was team MVP all four years
• Was the Gatorade Nevada Player of the Year for girls track and field
• Ranked nationally in the 300m and 800m
• Won seven MVP titles from 2004 to 2007, including three as a senior
• Set three state meet records, twice in the 300mH and once in the 800m
• Won a dozen state 3A titles in the 300mH, 100mH, 800m, and the 1600m
• Also lettered in volleyball, three times in track and basketball
• Was first team all-state in 2006 for basketball
• Club soccer team was four-time Nevada State Champions
• A member of the National Honor Society and the student council
