PROVO, Utah -- BYU returns to Provo for its final Friday night game of the season vs. Boise State at 6 p.m. MDT.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN, with kickoff slated for 6:06 p.m. MDT.

The Countdown to Kickoff pregame show will begin at 5 p.m. MDT on BYUtv and BYUtvsports.com. Fans can also tune in to BYUtv and BYUtvsports.com for the live postgame show at the conclusion of the game. Series

BYU and Boise State meet for the fourth time Friday. BYU is looking for its first win against the Broncos after losing 7-6 in 2012 in Boise.

BYU is 273-161-13 vs. Mountain West teams. BYU’s last game vs. a Mountain West opponent resulted in a 31-14 road victory vs. Utah State Oct. 4.

Offense

BYU ranks No. 14 in the nation in rushing offense with 263.4 yards per game earned on the ground. Boise State ranks 20th in rushing yards with 224 per game.

BYU is also No. 14 in total offense with 503 yards per game, while Boise State is No. 18 with 494.4.

BYU has two players ranked in the top 25 nationally for rushing yards per game--Taysom Hill (16th) with 110.3 and Jamaal Williams (22nd) with 104.3. 

Cody Hoffman had seven receptions vs. Houston and became the career receptions leader at BYU with 228, passing All-American Dennis Pitta. He is tied for No. 1 at BYU for all-time career touchdown receptions with Austin Collie (30). He needs two more 100-yard receiving games to pass Collie in that category.

Defense

BYU’s defense has eight players with 30 or more tackles in 2013, led by Uani ‘Unga’s 69.

Kyle Van Noy has 26 career sacks, which is the second most nationally among active players. The senior needs eight more sacks this season to pass the career sack record at BYU (33).
