BYU Head Coach Dave Rose

“As the game went on, we got better. We got better as a team. We had a lot of guys that stepped up for us in their respective positions and we’re all pleased with the win. We’re ready to get back to practice tomorrow and then prepare to head out to Chicago.”

“Anson has responded really well to playing more minutes. He’s playing well and I know how hard he’s worked so that’s good for him. He’s definitely progressing in every game he plays.”

“Stephen is great off the bench. His length really causes problems for most teams and that’s a huge strength for him and us.”

“As we got more energy from the crowd tonight, we got better. We were really active in the zone and it worked for us tonight. I think it was successful and allowed us a lot of opportunities to get the ball in our possession and convert on turnovers.”

Prairie View Head Coach Byron Rimm

“It was a terribly played second half. Our transition defense was terrible and we gave up. It was a good basketball game by BYU.”

“We needed to do the little things to be successful. Guys didn’t want to swing the ball or cut hard. We needed to knock down little shots and knock down free throws.”
