PROVO, Utah – Looking for a regional win after posting its second conference victory, BYU men’s tennis travels to Las Vegas to take on the UNLV Rebels on Saturday.

BYU (9-7, 2-0 West Coast Conference) split matches against Utah State and Santa Clara last weekend. The Cougars fell 4-3 to the Aggies in Logan before picking up a 4-2 victory over the Broncos at home. Both Keaton Cullimore and Matthew Pearce went 2-0 in singles over the weekend, while John Pearce pulled out a 7-5, 6-2 win at the No. 5 slot to clinch the match against Santa Clara.

UNLV (5-2, 0-0 Mountain West) picked up a 5-2 victory over Loyola Marymount on the road on Feb. 16 after falling 4-0 to Santa Clara. The Rebels will be coming off a three-week break and will host Boston College on Friday before playing BYU. Last season, the Cougars defeated the Rebels 4-3 at home after Aidan Carrazedo clinched the match with a three-set comeback win over Richard Solberg.

BYU and UNLV face off on Saturday, March 11, at 11 a.m. PST at the Fertitta Tennis Complex in Las Vegas. Results will be posted to the BYU men's tennis schedule page
