Track and Field travels to Texas Relays and Aztec Invitational

PROVO, Utah -- BYU men's and women's track and field seeks to divide and conquer as its athletes travel to the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays and Aztec Invitational this week. 

Meet Information // 94th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays

  • Host: Texas
  • Location: Mike A. Myers Track and Soccer Stadium in Austin, Texas
  • Dates: Wednesday through Saturday, March 23-26
    • Wednesday and Thursday BYU events begin at 10 a.m. CDT.
    • Friday BYU events begin at 9:35 a.m. CDT and at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

BYU has a proud history at the Texas Relays and Mike A. Myers Stadium. Former BYU distance runner Henry Marsh set the meet and school 3000 S record with a time of 8:27.70 in 1977. Clayton Young set a Myers Stadium facility record in the 10,000m as he clocked a 29:16.60 to win the 2019 men's individual national title. Prior to winning the 1997 NCAA Heptathlon National Championship, BYU women's athlete Tiffany Lott Hogan was named the meet's Women's Outstanding Performer.

  • Host: San Diego State
  • Location: SDSU Sports Deck (Friday hammer throws will be held at UC San Diego at the northwest corner of Northpoint Dr. and Northpoint Ln. in San Diego).
  • Dates: Thursday through Saturday, March 24-26
    • Thursday events begin at 11 a.m. PDT and at 9 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
