BREMERTON -- The third round of the Husky Invitational was cancelled due to rain Tuesday, leaving the BYU men's golf team in tenth place with freshman Adam Tebbs heading the charge for the Cougars tied for 20th.
With only one junior and no seniors on the BYU roster, BYU head coach Bruce Brockbank said he is confident that his young team will continue to work hard and improve.
"We continue to struggle, making the same mistakes a rookie team would make," Brockbank said. "We have played some good rounds, but we?ll continue to work hard and improve, and try to figure out a way to be more competitive for next week."
The Husky Invitational was a 13-team tournament including 69 competitors and was held on the par-72 Olympic Course at the Gold Mountain Golf Club. The yardage was set at 7061 yards.
