BYU ranked 18th in AP Poll, faces No. 14 Baylor on Tuesday

PROVO, Utah — No. 18 BYU hits the road for the first time in the Big 12 play when the Cougars travel to Waco to face No. 14 Baylor on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at Foster Pavilion. Tip is scheduled for 8 p.m. CT.

Tuesday’s contest will be broadcast on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ with Pete Sousa and Chris Spatola the call. It will also be broadcast live on BYU Radio Sirius XM 143, KSL 102.7/1160 AM and BYURadio.org/BYU Radio app with Greg Wrubell and Mark Durrant.

·      BYU dropped six spots in the AP Poll to No. 18 after a 71-60 setback to Cincinnati in the program’s first-ever Big 12 game.
·      Trevin Knell scored a career-high 27 points in the loss to the Bearcats, connecting on the second-most 3-pointers in a single game in program history with nine makes from beyond the arc.
·      Knell ranks seventh in the nation in 3-point percentage with the redshirt junior shooting 46.5 percent from 3-point range.
·      Aly Khalifa continues to lead the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio (8.0:1) as the junior has 48 assists to only six turnovers.
