Hutchins won the BYU Autumn Classic for the second-straight year running the three-mile course in 15:17.88 to lead the Cougars to their fifth-straight victory at the meet.
Last cross country season, Hutchins was a part of the Cougars' first-ever Big 12 Championship team as she placed sixth overall in a personal-best 6,000-meter time of 19:54.5.
The sophomore from Johnson City, Tenn. also placed sixth in the 10,000-meters at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in June clocking 32:44.05.
Hutchins ranks No. 2 in the 10,000m, No. 4 in the indoor and outdoor 5,000-meters and No. 6 in the indoor 3,000-meters on BYU's all-time track and field record board.
