PROVO, Utah - BYU track and field held its 12th Annual Curtis Pugsley Awards Banquet Tuesday night.
Awards were presented to the program's top performers in each of the following categories: freshman track & field, overall track & field, most inspirational and Curtis Pugsley.
The banquet is named after former BYU decathlete Curtis Pugsley who passed away from cancer in 2013. The Curtis Pugsley award is the highest honor of the night given to the top performing male and female from the program. The award serves to remember and continue the legacy of Pugsley as an All-American athlete, role model and disciple of Jesus Christ.
