Clayton Young - Member of 2019 NCAA National Title Team and Olympic Marathoner
"What a year is has been for BYU and BYU alum! To see both the BYU men's and women's cross countyr teams cap off what is a dream year for BYU is inspiring. I also must say it's really inspiring to see coach eyestone be able to develop such great athletes to compete at the highest stage. It also was really special to see Casey Clinger finally get his team national championship. He won NXN twice in high school, but never the team title. In 2017 he came to BYU hoping to win a team title, but it didn't happen. While on his mission BYU title. He then came back and wanted a team title and it never happened. This year he finally got what he has wanted for so long."
Kenneth Rooks - 3000-meter Steeplechase Olympic Silver Medalist
"I am inspired by how tough the BYU men and women fought today. So happy! I am so glad I came out to support them in person! So grateful to be a BYU Cougar! Today and every day."
