PROVO, Utah — BYU softball pitcher Kaysen Korth was ranked No. 20 on the D1 Softball Pitcher Power Rankings, the outlet announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Korth, one of four Big 12 pitchers named to the 20-pitcher list, leads the conference in wins (9), is second in shutouts (2), third in ERA (0.84) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (5.64) and fourth in total strikeouts (62) and walks allowed per seven innings (1.15).

The junior from Bluffdale, Utah ranks No. 3 nationally in saves, No. 10 in ERA, No. 15 in victories and No. 23 in WHIP (0.85), helping the Cougars to the 14th-best team ERA in the country through the first six weeks of the season.

Korth has gone the distance in four wins this year, including a 12 strikeout performance in a 3-1 win over Washington at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic where the Huskies recorded just three hits in the contest.

After its 14-0 win at Utah Tech on Tuesday, BYU will have the remainder of its Big 12 bye week off before resuming conference play next week at Houston, starting on Thursday, Mar. 20 at 6 p.m. CDT.
