NORMAN, Okla. – BYU golfers Peter Kim and Cole Ponich were named to the PING All-Region West Team, presented annually by the Golf Coaches Association of America, the committee announced Saturday.
Players from 82 schools across six regions earned all-region honors in 2025.
Kim competed in every tournament this season. The sophomore finished in the top 10 in six of 12 events. He tied for first at The Goodwin, carding rounds of 67-71-67—205. The Salt Lake City native recorded a season stroke average of 71.61.
Ponich, a senior, shot a career-low 7-under 65 in the final round of the Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational. He finished second as an individual at the NCAA Reno Regional, helping BYU to its first NCAA Regional victory.
Other Cougars to earn this honor include Zac Jones, Carson Lundell, Peter Kuest, Rhett Rasmussen, Patrick Fishburn, Joe Parkinson and Zac Blair.
