The outside hitter posted a double-double against No. 7 Arizona State and averaged 5.5 kills per set for BYU last week.

IRVING, Texas — BYU women's volleyball freshman outside hitter Suli Davis earned her third Big 12 Rookie of the Week honor of the season, the league announced on Tuesday.

Davis led BYU offensively with 44 kills, hitting .320, arcoss the Cougars' two matches this week. The outside hitter averaged 5.5 kills per set and recorded her third double-double of the season with a 25-kill, 11-dig performance against No. 7 Arizona State, her third match this year with 20 or more kills.

A Euless, Texas/Hau'ula, Hawai'i native, Davis has 18 matches with double-digit kills in 2025, including 16 in a row. She also contributed 19 digs, a pair of assists and service aces and one block on the week.

The award is BYU's third weekly honor of the season. Davis also picked up Rookie of the Week nods on Sept. 9 and Oct. 7. The Cougars have now received seven Rookie of the Week awards since joining the Big 12. Middle blocker Mia Lee (2023) and setter Alex Bower (2024) were both honored twice in their freshmen seasons.
