Davis finished with 40 kills on a .304 clip last week, averaging 3.33 per set for the Cougars. She posted double-digit kills in all three of BYU's wins, highlighted by 17 kills, hitting .552, against Northern Colorado.

The award marks the Cougars' first weekly Big 12 honor of the season and BYU's fifth Rookie of the Week award since joining the Big 12. Setter Alex Bower (2024) and middle blocker Mia Lee (2023) were both honored twice during their respective freshman seasons.
The Cougars will make their first road trip of the year this week, heading to Los Angeles for the LMU Invitational. BYU will play three matches in LA, beginning with No. 16 USC on Thursday night.
