PROVO, Utah — No. 61 BYU men’s tennis heads to Arizona for its final road trip of the season. The Cougars stop in Tempe first on Thursday, April 3, to face No. 35 Arizona State and then travel further south to Tucson to take on No. 11 Arizona.

BYU Notes

  • BYU is coming off a weekend competing against two top 15 teams, in which it suffered two losses, 4-0 to No. 2 TCU and 4-2 to No. 15 Baylor.
  • The Cougars have lost the doubles point just once in Big 12 play. They are led by No. 38 doubles team Wally Thayne and Zach Fuchs, who are 11-1 on their season.
  • BYU is led in singles wins by Adam Chodur, who is now 12-4 in 2025.
  • The Cougars are now 12-6 overall and 1-4 in Big 12 play.

Arizona State Notes

  • Arizona State is led by head coach Matt Hill, who is in his eighth season with the Sun Devils. His associate head coach is Dominic Catrone, in his fifth season, and he is assisted by David Fox.
  • The Sun Devils are 11-8 and 2-3 in the Big 12. They come into the matchup with BYU on a two-match win streak, picking up wins against Texas Tech and Oklahoma State.
