Cougars compete at Stanford Invitational

BYU men’s track and field distance group is set to compete at the Stanford Invitational on Friday, April 3.

PROVO, Utah – BYU men’s track and field distance group is set to compete at the Stanford Invitational on Friday, April 3 at the Cobb Track and Angell Field.

Caleb Johnson, Brayden Packard and Jacob Robison will appear in the 400-meter to open for the Cougars. 

Jefferson McMullin, Garrett Stanford, Jackson Henstrom and Max Davis will follow, all set to compete in the 3000-meter steeplechase. 

Indoor mile national champion Carter Cutting will then compete for the second time this season in the 1500-meter alongside Tayvon Kitchen, Johnson, Packard and Robison.

Appearing in the 5000-meter will be Land Lambert, Jacob Stanford, Hunter Kitchen, All-American Isaac Hedengren, Noah Jenkins, Tayvon Kitchen and Davin Thompson

Thompson’s twin brother Creed Thompson will spearhead the last event for the Cougars competing in the 10,000-meter alongside Cutting, Patrick Cullen and Dalton Mortensen.
