NCAA Common Ground Initiative
BYU Athletics is proud to be a part of the NCAA Common Ground Initiative, which aims to establish inclusive and respectful athletics environments for participants of all sexual orientations, gender identities and religious beliefs. The main goal of Common Ground is to foster environments in athletics that respect dignity and support the well-being of student-athletes and those who teach and lead them. Liz Darger, Sr. Associate AD/SWA, serves on the NCAA Common Ground Leadership Team.

BYU became the first private, faith-based Division I institution to host a Common Ground event when it hosted Common Ground IV in November 2018. Learn more about NCAA Common Ground.
