- In first season at BYU (2024-25), coached distance and long individual medley
- Coached BYU swimmers to five All-Big 12 honors and two school records
Coaching Career
- Southeastern Swim Club & Hamilton Southeastern High School Head Coach (Fishers, Indiana; 2021-24)
- Coached the club into one of the top-200 in the country
- Led Hamilton Southeastern to top-10 state finishes
- Coached numerous high school All-Americans
- Carmel Swim Club & Carmel High School Assistant Coach (Carmel, Indiana; 2019-21)
- Helped boy's and girl's swimming to state championships and national high school championship
- Sent several swimmers on to the college ranks
- Tennessee Assistant Coach (2017-19)
- Helped Tennessee swimmers to a combined 73 All-American citations and 14 SEC individual titles
- Coached women's 200 medley relay to 2018 NCAA Championship
- Eastern Michigan Assistant Coach (2016-17)
- Helped the Eastern Michigan men to a MAC Championship, women to runner-up finish
- Qualified two swimmers to NCAA Championships

- Native of Indianapolis, Indiana; graduate of Mt. Verne High School
- Served full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Belo Horizonte, Brail (2009-11)
- Married to the former Jenny Connolly; eight-time SEC champion, 22-time All-American during Tennessee swimming career (2009-12); Jenny was inducted into the Tennesse Athletics Hall of Fame in 2025
- Christian and Jenny are the parents of a son, Liam, and daughters, Olivia and Riley
