- A native from Mexico City, Holden began playing tennis because her father used to play
- She likes to be all over the court and has great footwork
- She has very quick hands at the net and is very competitive
Before BYU
- Won national championship in Mexico in 2002 in singles play and finished second in doubles
- Played in ITF semifinals in group four and five and won the doubles championship in group five
- Ranked 150 in ITF doubles and 328 in ITF singles
