- Got started in volleyball because she was asked to play for a club team in Phoenix the summer before her freshman year

Before BYU
University of Arizona:
Played for the Wildcats for three years under the tutelage of head coach David Rubio
Ranked sixth in the Pac-10 for hitting percentage and fourth in the Pac-10 for blocks in 2008
Played in 93 sets for the Wildcats in 2009 tallying 135 kills on a .320 clip, along with 65 total blocks (.70 blocks per set)
Led the team in hitting percentage, solo blocks, block assists and total blocks in 2008
Club:
- Played for the Arizona Juniors club under head coach Teri Spann
- Qualified for nationals four years in a row
- Third-place finish in the national division in 2006

- Played for Marcos de Niza High School under head coach Scott Miller
