- Favorite foods are pasta and Mexican
- Loves art, power tumbling, hiking and rappelling

Before BYU
- Played for the Utah Elite club under head coach and former BYU mens volleyball player, Mike Burke.
- Attended Pleasant Grove High School and played for head coach Jamie Schapper
- Earned MVP in 2006 and 2009 and Most Improved in 2007 and 2008
- Academic All-Region 2007-09 team
- Placed second at the State Tournament in 2008 and won the State Championship in 2009 (her senior year)
- Earned Academic All-State in 2009
- Was named to the High Honor Roll
- Lettered all four years in basketball
