Responsibilites:

Organizes student-athlete service and belonging events, oversees SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) initiatives, facilitates Contemporary Issues class for student-athletes and directs the Cougar Built elementary school assemblies. Helps to oversee the strategic vision and program implementation for diversity and inclusion within BYU Athletics, including for minority student-athletes in the core areas of race/ethnicity, international, LGBTQ & SSA, and student-athletes of other faiths.

Education:

  • M.A. in Public Administration, BYU (2021)
  • B.S. in Social Work minor in Sociology, BYU Hawaii (2017)

Personal:

  • Hometown: Lakeport, California
  • Played softball at BYU Hawaii (2012-2017)
  • Served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New York, New York North – Spanish speaking (2014-2016)
  • Loves fly fishing, road biking, camping, and hanging with her dog Taper the Bernadoodle
