He is currently responsible for directing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for basketball and baseball. He also assists in all aspects of the football strength and conditioning program. During his time at BYU he has worked with all of the University's 21 intercollegiate sports. He is a current certified member of the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association and National Strength and Conditioning Association.
BS in kinesiology and MS in physical education, both from Northern Colorado.

Prior to BYU he attended the University of Northern Colorado where he served as a strength coach while finishing a master's degree in physical education with an emphasis in exercise physiology.
