Before BYU
- Worked for Pallavolo Casteggio as manager and then assistant coach as a 13 year old
- Worked in both Divisions I and II in men's and women's Italian professional volleyball leagues, winning the Italian Cup in 2007
- Went to the 2008 Olympics with the Italian Olympic National team, finishing in fourth place
- Assistant coach for the U.S. Men's Junior National Team at the 2009 FIVB World Championships in India
- Scout coach for the USA Women's National Team that participated to the 2010 World Championship in Japan (taking fourth place) and 2011 World Cup in Japan (taking second place)
- Participated in the 2011 and 2012 World Grand Prix with women's volleyball teams, placing first both times
- Participated in the 2012 London Olympics with the U.S. women's team, taking second place
