Outdoor scrimmages for BYU baseball will be held the next two weekends at Dixie High School in St. George and at Salt Lake Community College.
This weekend, the scrimmages will be at Flyer Field in St. George and the scrimmages on Feb. 12-13 are scheduled to be at the SLCC’s Cate Field in West Jordan on Thursday and Friday (Feb. 11-12) at 2 p.m. and Saturday (Feb. 13) at 1 p.m., in West Jordan.
All of the scrimmages will be nine-inning intrasquad games in preparation for the four-game season opener when BYU hosts Saint Louis University in Las Vegas on Feb. 19-20, 22.
This is the first full scrimmage outdoors for BYU baseball this year as the Cougars have been working out at the Indoor Practice Facility on campus due to inclement weather.
