Spreading it around
With eight different receivers catching passes today, BYU has had at least eight catch a pass in every game in 2019 season.

Three turnovers
BYU had three takeaways in the game, including one interception and two fumble recoveries. It is the second game this year with at least three turnovers (USC-3).

Bye Week
BYU now heads into its first bye week of the season. The Cougars will travel to Tampa to play South Florida on Saturday, Oct. 12 and then host Boise State on October 19. BYU then has its second bye week.
 

PLAYER NOTES
Zach Wilson
Wilson finished the game 22 of 38 for 315 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He went over 1,000 passing yards (1,312) on the season with his first attempt of the game and 138th of the year, making him the quickest to 1,000 yards in a single season since Max Hall reached the 1,000 mark in 107 attempts in 2009.

Aleva Hifo
Hifo had five receptions for 111 yards and two touchdowns. It is his second 100-yard game of his career (148 at ECU in 2017) and first game with two receiving touchdowns. Hifo had a career-long 75-yard reception for one of the touchdowns in the second half. He also had punt returns of 45 (career best) and 25 yards.
