NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Cougar fans gathered in Las Vegas on Friday night to participate in a Fan Fest in advance of Saturday's BYU vs. Notre Dame football game being played at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders. The Las Vegas Fan Fest was held on the East Meadow at Craig Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas.
Fans had a chance to participate in football drills and activities such as face painting, bounce houses, obstacle courses, and photo booths, while BYU Store merchandise and Cougar concessions provided fans the chance to purchase apparel and enjoy food favorites such as CougarTails and BYU Creamery ice cream.
The two-hour event, which took place from 6-8 p.m. PDT, featured the following festivities:

- BYU Concessions with Fan Favorites (Cougartails, Creamery Ice Cream and Chocolate Milk)

- Balloon Artists

- Inflatables (bounce house, obstacle course, football toss, basketball Tic Tac Toe)

BYU Sports Nation Fan Fest Special Episode
BYUtv produced a special Friday evening edition of BYU Sports Nation live at the event for fans to watch. The hour-long show included interviews with former Cougar star tight end Matt Bushman and BYU associate athletics director for development Chad Lewis, who helped the Cougars defeat the Irish as a player in 1994 and will represent BYU on the NBC halftime and postgame shows for Saturday's Shamrock Series game in Las Vegas.
BYU Sports Nation host Spencer Linton was joined by BYUradio football analyst and former BYU quarterback Riley Nelson to host the BYUSN special episode on Friday night. They talked extensively with both Bushman and Lewis about Saturday's BYU matchup with Notre Dame. Bushman also gave Cougar fans a glimpse into his NFL experiences and current plans.The special episode also featured a previously conducted Friday interview with former Dallas Cowboys head coach and current NBC football analyst Jason Garrett, who will be helping call the game as part of NBC's national telecast on Saturday.
