BYU finished with 42 points in the paint, the eighth time this season with 40 or more in the paint. 

PLAYERS NOTES

Feed Fouss Early

For the 11th time this season and 16th time of his career Fousseyni Traore opened the scoring for the Cougars with a layup in the opening possession of the game. No other player on the roster has scored the opening points more than three times in 2022-23.

Mr. Consistent From Deep

With his 3-pointer at the 7:43 mark in the first half, Jaxson Robinson extended his 3-point streak to a career-high 14 games. Since going 0-of-4 from behind the arc against Western Oregon, the sophomore has made at least one 3-pointer in every appearance since. 

Attacking The Glass

Four of Gideon George’s team-high seven rebounds were on the offensive glass, tying a BYU career-high. It also marks the sixth time this season and 14th time in his career that he has led the Cougars in rebounding. 

Mr. Steal The Ball

Mostly known as a shot blocker, Atiki Ally Atiki had a career-high three steals giving him 11 in his career.
