LAS VEGAS — Patrick Fishburn is tied for second as No. 30 BYU men’s golf sits in 12th place at the Southern Highlands Collegiate on Tuesday.

"Patrick (Fishburn) continues to play very good golf," BYU head coach Bruce Brockbank said, "It was nice to see Rhett (Rasmussen) and Peter (Kuest) bounce back today. The course gets more difficult each day, and handed the difficult conditions, we played much better today."

The Cougars responded to Monday's round of 299 (+11) with a team score of 290 (+2) on Tuesday. BYU is in 12th place at +13. No. 36 TCU leads all teams -2.

Fishburn fired a second-round 70 and is tied for second place at -4. After shooting 36 on the back nine, the senior carded 34 on the front, birdying holes 5,6 and 8.

After shooting even par on Monday, CJ Lee fired a 75 in Tuesday's second round. Lee sits at +3 through 36 holes of the 54-hole tournament and is tied for 36th place.
