PROVO -- BYU (23-16, 4-2) will make up a postponed double-header against Southern Utah (18-22) in Cedar City, Utah on Tuesday then return to Provo for four consecutive home games.

Colorado State (23-20, 2-2) comes to Gail Miller Field for a nationally televised double-header on Thursday, while a weekend series against visiting New Mexico (12-14, 2-1) rounds out the week for BYU. With four Mountain West Conference games on their immediate calendar, the Cougars have a chance to gain some ground on MWC-leader UNLV. BYU head coach Gordon Eakin says his team needs to take care of business at home in order to do that.

"I feel very good about where we sit in the conference right now based on the fact we've been on the road the first six conference games," Eakin said. "We've gotten the pre-season first and second team picks and our arch rival all out of the way and all on the road, and we're still 4-2. I'm optimistic that we're positioned right where we want to be."

Fans can see the Cougars live in four of their six games this week at Gail Miller Field by purchasing tickets at the ticket office at the entrance of Miller Park. The Mtn. will broadcast Thursday's double-header against Colorado State, while all games except the SUU double-header will be available through live stats and/or live video.
