AUSTIN, Texas – Mikayla Colohan was named a 2021 Academic All-American by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), announced on Friday.

Colohan earned second team honors, with one other previous honor as an Academic All-American on the first team in 2019.

She ended her BYU career with 53 goals, 39 assists and 145 points, the second most of all-time for the Cougars in each category. Colohan blazed a trail for the Cougars, leading them to their first appearance at the NCAA Women's Soccer College Cup and took home the 2021 National Runner-Up title and All-Tournament Team honor.

In the classroom, Colohan finished with a 3.63 GPA in exercise and wellness. She has career aspirations of being an athletic director.

Colohan was also named United Soccer Coaches All-America following the end of the season, marking the most first-team selections in BYU women's soccer history.
