PROVO, Utah – No. 7 BYU women’s volleyball will face Loyola Marymount this week for its final regular-season match. The Cougars’ three seniors will be honored for Senior Night prior to the start of the match.
Loyola Marymount
- BYU (27-2, 16-1 West Coast Conference) competes against Loyola Marymount Tuesday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m. MST at the Smith Fieldhouse.
- The Cougars won a come-from-behind five-set thriller in Los Angeles against the Lions earlier this season.
- BYU leads the overall series history 14-1 with Loyola Marymount.
- Each of the past four matches with the Lions has gone five sets – with the Cougars winning the past three of those competitions.
- Loyola Marymount is 16-12 overall this season. They are 9-8 in WCC play, which puts them in fourth place in the current league standings.
