Cougar fans, thanks to our generous corporate partners, you can score free stuff at football games this season! Here's a breakdown of the freebies that will be offered this season.
KICKIN' FOR CHICKEN
If the opposing team misses a kick (field goal or PAT) at any point in the game, all fans in attendance at a home BYU football game will score a tasty reward from Chick-fil-A Utah.
The reward is only eligible to those fans in attendance at the game. The offer MUST be claimed in the app before leaving the stadium.
Two steps are necessary to receive your free item. Anyone in the state of Utah with the updated version of the Chick-fil-A One app must claim the reward by opening their app. Please allow 5 minutes from when the opposing team kicks are missed for the reward to arrive to your Chick-fil-A One App.
If triggered, fans can redeem by:
- Downloading the Chick-fil-A app
- Create an account
- Turn on location services
- Claim your reward
- If reward doesn’t pop up, please disable your wi-fi
BYU will announce when the promotion is activated inside Lavell Edwards Stadium, as well as notifying a Chick-fil-A representative. Only this confirmation will activate the promotion.
Once your reward is claimed, the free item must then be redeemed through the Chick-fil-A One App starting the business day following the game in which the activation occurred. The reward is eligible to be redeemed for 72-hours, at which point the reward expires. In the case that the 72-hour redemption period includes a Sunday, the reward will be valid for 96 hours. All Chick-fil-A restaurants are closed Sundays. Once expired the offer will no longer be available for redemption. NO EXCEPTIONS
The reward will not be valid to claim on the day of the game.
The Chick-fil-A One mobile app will be the only way to claim and redeem this offer. Paper tickets, BYU mobile app app, or any other form of ticket or app will not be accepted.
Chick-fil-A of Utah reserves the right to change which menu item will be offered as a reward for activation.
Each guest with this reward will be allowed to redeem one item, per visit, per app account, per person. Guests must be present at the restaurant in order to receive the free offer. Multiple offers cannot be redeemed for a single guest. One offer per guest.
We ask that if you are redeeming multiple rewards within a group of guests with multiple app users, that you come into the restaurant to facilitate this. Due to the complexity of scanning these offers, restaurants reserve the right to restrict multiple redemptions at our drive-thru window.
If the reward does not appear on your Chick-fil-A One app, please ensure your app is updated and location services are enabled. If this doesn’t correct the problem, you may need to reboot your mobile device. It is also possible that the reward is no longer available due to claim due to supplies being exhausted.
