Parking Procedures for Upcoming BYU Football Season

PROVO -- As the 2003 Cougar football season approaches, the BYU Athletic Department has released a reminder detailing parking procedures for fans attending upcoming home games.

All reserved parking lots will be held for specific parking pass holders until halftime of each game. Parking is available for your assigned lot only. If a parking pass is lost, the replacement fee is $25.

Parking passes are assigned and prioritized based on Cougar Club membership levels. Parking Lot 1 is for Legacy Cougar Club Members, Parking Lot 2B is for Gold and Silver Cougar Club Members, and Parking Lot 3 is for fans who purchased the New Club Seating.

Disability parking is available in Lot 2A and accessible only with a state-issued disability pass. Parking Lot 5 is for Bronze Cougar Club Members.

"We have a variety of excellent parking areas for fans that are no more than a five-minute walk to the stadium," said Larry Duffin, BYU Special Events Director.

Public non-reserved parking lots are available at the Marriott Center, Monte L. Bean Museum, and the Administration Building (ASB).

Fans can also get to LaVell Edwards Stadium by using the UTA Shuttle Services that are available for home games on Saturday only. For information about those services, you may call 1-888-RIDE-UTA or (888-743-3882).

BYU opens the 2003 football season on Thursday, Aug. 28 versus Georgia Tech. Kick off is set for 7:30 p.m.
