PROVO -- The BYU-JV football team will take on Georgia Military College from Milledgeville, Ga. Saturday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. at Provo High School. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students.
Georgia Military College is one of the elite junior college programs in the nation, winning the 2001 Junior College National Championship. Last year the squad finished fourth in the nation with their only loss coming against Joliet Junior College--the eventual 2002 JC National Champion. Currently Georgia Military is 7-0 and is ranked sixth in the nation.
The Cougars' jayvee team is 0-1 after losing to Dixie State College earlier in the season.
