PROVO -- The BYU men's tennis team will compete in the Region 7 Team Indoor Playoff hosted by Boise State Saturday Nov. 15 in hopes to advance to the Team National Indoor Championship in February.
Teams competing in the in the championship include top seeded Boise State, University of New Mexico, Colorado and BYU.
The winner of this week's championship will get the nod to represent Region 7 in the National Team Indoor Championship hosted by the University of Washington in February.
Doubles play will begin at 9 a.m. as fourth seeded Colorado faces Boise State followed by a noon showing as the Cougars face third seed New Mexico. Singles play will directly follow the doubles matches. The final match will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Play will follow a regular dual match format, stopping when the first team reaches four points. All doubles matches and the final singles matches will have a chair umpire present.
