Question: Your wife [Terra Smith] plays soccer for BYU, do you usually watch just the home games?
Answer: Usually I just watch the home games and they have been doing really well. The only road games I have been to are in Salt Lake City. She has played well and the team has been doing well. It's a bittersweet end--she is happy it's over, but she is sad at the same time. She has been real stable this year and has been focused. I've been impressed by her.
Q: This is your senior hurrah, are you looking forward to it?
A: This is what you work and play for. It's going to be fun. We have a lot of pieces set in place, it just depends on how they will all come together.
Q: When you were among Coach Cleveland's first recruits, he projected a dream for you. Has that dream come true?
A: It's right out there waiting. The full dream won't come until the NCAA Tournament and what we do there.
Q: You were a pre-season all-conference selection and the team was picked to win the league, are these projections deserved?
A: I think it's welcomed, but I don't think about it too much. Whether it's deserved or not, it doesn't matter, because the only thing that matters is how you play.
Q: You could end up as one of the top four scorers in BYU history, any thoughts on that?
A: I haven't thought about it too much. It would be an honor to be named with some of those players. Honestly most all I think about is how the team can perform well and I focus on that--it's all I care about this year.
Q: You are a sharpshooter, what have you done to develop that?
A: I practice a lot at it and the more you practice, the better you get. That's what I attribute it to.
Q: What will you do after you finish playing for BYU?
A: I'm hoping to play in some sort of pro career and then I'll go get my MBA and we'll see what happens from there. If the NBA doesn't work out, I'll probably come back here to get my MBA.
