PROVO -- The National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced its all-region teams on Wednesday, with the BYU women's team landing three athletes on the list.
Making the NSCAA/Adidas All-West Region first-team is senior Aleisha Rose, with junior Krissa Campbell and freshman Nicole Jensen being named to the NSCAA/Adidas All-West Region third-team.
All three athletes were instrumental in the Cougars' successful run in the NCAA tournament that saw BYU reach the Elite Eight and finish with a No. 14 national ranking.
This is the first time both Campbell and Jensen have been named to the All-West Region team and the fourth-straight honor for Rose who was also a semifinalist for the Hermann Trophy and a finalist for the Soccer Buzz Player of the Year award this season.
With the departure of Rose this season, both Campbell and Jensen will help bring experience and leadership to next season's team.
