PROVO -- To give fans, players and coaches the opportunity to view Sister Marjorie Hinckley's funeral on Saturday, which will be televised live on KSL-TV at 10:30 a.m., BYU officials have announced the annual Blue-White Spring game will be delayed until 2 p.m. (MDT).
Fans will still have the opportunity to tour the new Student Athlete Center and Indoor Practice Facility, beginning at Noon. The tours will conclude at approximately 1:45 p.m. and will resume for an additional hour following the Blue-White Game.
Grade-school youth between the ages of 5 and 12 will still be able to participate in a free football clinic at Edwards Stadium. Members of the BYU football team will be on hand to teach basic fundamentals to the youngsters, beginning at 1 p.m.
Admission for the game will be $5 for adults, $3 for children and youth between the ages of 6 and 18, as well as senior citizens and students with a valid I.D. card. Admission is free for BYU students with an All-Sport pass. Fans can purchase advance general-admission tickets to the event by visiting the Marriott Center ticket office, or by calling 378-BYU1 or 1-800-322-BYU1. Advanced tickets for the event may also be purchased during the tour of the Student Athlete Building.
