Colorado Springs, Colo. (April 22, 2004)--Sleet and snow forced the postponement of Thursday's BYU baseball game at the Air Force Academy.
Games are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, but snow is forecasted to come in greater quantities during those days to the 7,064-foot high campus of the Academy. Friday's doubleheader is scheduled to start noon at Falcon Field, but it could go earlier if a local alternate site is playable.
Should the games move to an alternate site, BYU's radio coverage of the game may be affected. If any of the games not be played at AFA, league rules allow for them to be made up when the Falcons travel to Provo for play on May 20-22.
BYU enters the series with AFA with a 16-25 overall record and 6-9 in the Mountain West Conference, while the Falcons are 5-30 overall and 0-11.
