FORT COLLINS -- Due to inclement weather the start of the Mountain West Conference Softball Championship is delayed and there will be no games played on Thursday, May 13.
The tournament is scheduled to resume on Friday, May 14 with the No. 3 seed BYU taking on the No. 6 seed New Mexico. The games tomorrow (Friday, May 14) will follow today's original format unless weather continues to delay the tournament.
Due to the weather and delay, the tournament will turn from double elimination to a single elimination tournament.
