PROVO -- BYU setter Carlos Moreno was featured last month in Sports Illustrated's Faces in the Crowd section.
Moreno became the first Cougar in men's volleyball history to be named the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division I-II national player of the year. He led BYU to a 29-4 season record and the NCAA men's volleyball championship, the third title for the Cougars in six years.
As a junior from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Moreno will return as a four-year starter for BYU in 2005 for another chance at the national title.
