Five publications from the BYU Athletic Department were named national award-winners for 2003-04 by CoSida (College Sports Information Directors of America).
First place in the nation was earned for BYU's 2003 Football Poster designed by Dave Broberg in the "Best Sports Poster in the Nation" award.
Two of the BYU publications earned first place in District Eight (which includes the West coast): baseball and women's volleyball. The Cougar baseball media guide placed seventh nationally and the women's volleyball guide was selected sixth best in the country.
The BYU men's volleyball media guide placed seventh nationally for a single sport publication and finished second in the district.
The women's soccer guide placed third in District Eight.
The media guides were produced by BYU Athletic Media Relations and designed by BYU Athletic Publications offices.
